Aflatoxicosis is a fungal toxicosis and affects Dogs and other species of animals. The fungus grows on carbohydrate-rich feeds such as Mazie, peanuts, cottonseed and cereal grains when they are stored in hot conditions without adequate drying and aeration. It becomes deadly when this fungal grows on grains in Petfood and causes Liver Failure in dogs which is difficult to treat.
