Humble Beginnings
Mervue Laboratories is the privately owned nutraceutical products division of Inform Nutrition Ireland.
Established in 1986, Mervue Laboratories was born out of an opportunity spotted in the market of performance animals. Two friends, Martin Beirne and Denis Twomey, both working in the animal nutrition industry, had a passion for quality nutritional supplements.
They joined forces to set up the business with one employee in 1986 and formed Inform Nutrition. William Twomey joined the business in the early 1990’s to commence the groups export program.
Three decades of experience, combined with nutritional knowledge, have given us the expertise to create a wide variety of products.
Rapidly expanding export growth with new product developments, has transformed Mervue Laboratories into one of the fastest-growing nutraceutical companies in the world.

The production process for all products starts with the careful selection of raw materials. Each product must be in compliance with the highest European Quality Standards. This is carefully monitored in each phase of development and during the production process.
